Tarot & Astrology Workshop 11/21

In this interactive workshop, we'll explore tarot and astrology as practices for healing ourselves and the world we're building.

We'll work directly with our own birth charts and tarot decks (if you have one!), using these tools to ask new questions about the stories we've inherited, the structures that shape our lives, and the possibilities available to us.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

You’ll work directly with your birth chart, learning about the planets, astrological houses, signs, and significant chart points, and how these pieces work together to tell a story about your life and experiences.

I will also share a bit of my own tarot practices, reading methods, & foundational approaches to reading cards, including basic numerology, spreads, and ways to begin developing your own interpretations.

WE’LL ALSO EXPLORE THE HISTORIES OF THESE TRADITIONS

We’ll question the tendency to treat Greco-Roman and European frameworks as universal, and explore the knowledge, cultural exchanges, and power relations that have shaped how we practice divination today. (Especially Renaissance & Enlightenment thinking!)

No prior knowledge is required of either topic to join.

Just a willingness to be open minded, ask questions, and learn!

***I will send out instructions for calculating your birth chart so that we maximize our time going over what the chart actually means. If you're confused or having trouble, please email me at drpeytondeltoro@gmail.com or DM me on Instagram (@drdeltarot) and I'd be thrilled to help!

**No birth time? No problem! You can absolutely still dive into this work. While an exact birth time gives us your specific Ascendant (Rising Sign) and exact house placements, we can still track the major planetary movements, your Sun, Moon, and most of your planetary placements using a Solar Sign chart (placing your Sun sign as your 1st house) or a Sunrise chart (6am). You will still get plenty of insight, medicine, and wisdom from the workshop!
